Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for your help as they search for a unique orange 1960s era Ford AC Cobra sports car involved in a hit and run collision earlier this evening.
Patrol officers were called to the 400-block of Wilson Street for a report of a hit and run that occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. The distinctive orange Ford AC Cobra sports car was involved in a hit and run crash at a residence there. The vehicle then fled the scene. There were two people in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The vehicle driver is described as a Caucasian man, between 50 and 60 years of age. He was wearing a black hat, a black t-shirt, and black, wire-framed glasses.
The vehicle is described as an orange 1960s era Ford AC Cobra. It has a black hood stripe, black lettering that reads “1097 AA/SP” and “Dragonsnake” with a cartoon decal on the side. Photographs of the vehicle are below.
The crash caused significant damage to the property. No one at the scene was hurt and it is unclear if the vehicle occupants were injured.
