2021 VicPD Athletic Association Basketball Tournament Cancelled

Victoria, BC – Unfortunately, the 2021 Victoria Police Athletic Association’s boys and girls Senior High School Basketball tournament has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

In years past, the senior high basketball tournament, hosted by The Victoria City Police Athletic Association, took place in mid-January and featured teams from Vancouver Island and the Mainland. The tournament has served as a fantastic showcase of local talent. This year’s tournament was to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the event.

The Victoria City Police Athletic Association looks forward to hosting the event in the future when public health conditions improve.

The Victoria City Police Athletic Association is a non-profit society that supports events in the community and fosters positive relationships between VicPD and youth in Greater Victoria and on the South Island. Since its inception, the Victoria City Police Athletic Association has donated over one million dollars to events in our communities. Officers volunteer hundreds of hours towards these initiatives throughout the year.
