Victoria, BC – Today marks the three-year anniversary of VicPD Constable Ian Jordan’s passing.
Cst. Ian Jordan was injured on duty on September 22, 1987. He never regained consciousness and was hospitalized up to the date of his passing on April 11, 2018. Cst. Jordan was injured as he was responding to a business alarm and collided with another responding unit at Douglas and Fisgard streets. He was 35 years old at the time of the incident.
Hospitalized for over 30 years, many VicPD officers and staff visited Cst. Jordan regularly and made sure he knew he was part of our VicPD family.
Cst. Ian Jordan is survived by his wife Hilary and son Mark, who are in our thoughts and prayers today.
