Victoria, BC – A pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a collision with a BC Transit bus this morning.

At approximately 8:15 a.m. this morning VicPD Traffic officers were called to the 2800-block of Douglas Street for a report that a pedestrian was struck by a BC Transit bus. BC Emergency Health Services paramedics were already on scene when officers arrived. They transported the man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

VicPD Traffic officers continued their investigation and learned that the pedestrian attempted to cross Douglas Street where no pedestrian controls existed. At this time, officers do not believe there is any fault to the driver of the BC Transit bus.

This file remains under investigation.
