Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for information after a stabbing in Victoria this afternoon.
Shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6th, Patrol officers were called to the courtyard of a community shelter in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue for a report of a stabbing. Officers attended and located the victim, who was suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries. BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported the man to hospital. Following treatment, the man’s injuries are now considered non-life-threatening.
The suspect is described as an approximately 20 to 30-year-old Caucasian man standing five feet, eight inches tall. The suspect had short dark hair and wore a black t-shirt with white lettering on the front, black shorts, and a black backpack. A photograph of the suspect is available below.
This file remains under investigation. Officers are seeking witnesses and information regarding this incident.
