Victoria, BC – Officers are asking for your help as we continue to work to locate high-risk missing youth Lia Barker, who may be in the company of wanted man Lionel Sewap.
Lia is described as a 16-year-old Caucasian girl standing five feet, eight inches tall, with a slim build, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. Lia has shoulder-length red hair. A recent photograph of Lia is below.
Lia was last seen in downtown Victoria on September 21st. However, investigators believe that Lia may have travelled to the Lower Mainland in the company of wanted man Lionel Sewap.
Lionel Sewap is wanted on several unendorsed VicPD warrants for offences which include weapons possession, obstructing a police officer, disobeying a court order, and multiple counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
Lionel Sewap is described as a 34-year-old Indigenous man with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. Lionel Sewap stands six feet tall, and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

Patrol officers continue to work to locate Lia Barker and ensure that she is safe.
