Witnesses, Information Sought In Wharf Street Sudden Death Investigation

Victoria, BC – Detectives with VicPD’s Investigative Services Division (ISD) are seeking witnesses and information as they continue to investigate the sudden death of a female on Wharf Street yesterday morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17^th, officers received a report from BC Emergency Health Services paramedics of a female in medical distress in the 1200-block of Wharf Street. Sadly, despite medical treatment on scene, the female died.

ISD Detectives, along with officers from VicPD’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS), attended the scene and are continuing the investigation.

The BC Coroners Service is continuing an independent investigation to determine all of the facts surrounding the death.
