Victoria, BC – Patrol officers arrested a Victoria man who had used a rock to smash his way into a downtown business yesterday evening.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15th, Patrol officers were in the area of the 1900-block of Store Street when they heard an audible store alarm sound. Officers followed the alarm to a nearby business, where they observed broken glass, rocks and indications that someone was inside.

An Integrated Canine Service team attended to clear the building.
