Wanted Man Alemayehu Townsend Sought By Major Crimes Unit

Victoria, BC – Detectives with VicPD’s Major Crimes Unit continue to seek wanted man Alemayehu Townsend who was the subject of a wanted person notification on April 8^th.

Alemayehu Townsend is wanted on several outstanding warrants for recent offences in Victoria which include forcible confinement, extortion, assault causing bodily harm, and assault with a weapon.

Alemayehu Townsend is described as an 18-year-old Black man standing five feet, five inches tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photograph of Alemayehu Townsend is below.
