Victoria, BC – Officers are investigating after a woman reported she was grabbed by a man in Pioneer Park last Thursday.
The woman told officers that at approximately 6:00 p.m. on November 3, 2022 she was in Pioneer Park when she was approached by a man she did not know.
The man asked the woman if she would like to get something to eat with him. When she declined and began to walk away, the man grabbed her, and told her to come with him. The woman was able to pull away from the man and seek safety. She was not physically harmed.
The man is described as Caucasian, 50 to 60 years old, standing five feet, ten inches tall, with a grey beard and grey hair. He was wearing a blue rain jacket.
Investigators are asking anyone who was near Pioneer Park in the 900-block of Quadra Street, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on November 3, 2022 to please call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
