Victoria, BC – Officers are investigating after a cyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a collision this morning.
Just before 7:45 this morning, officers responded to a report that a cyclist had been injured in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Government and Bay streets. BC Emergency Health Services paramedics provided emergency treatment to the injured cyclist before transporting them to hospital for further medical care. The cyclist’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening, but will require significant treatment.
The intersection was closed as traffic investigators gathered evidence from the scene. The intersection was reopened to traffic at approximately 9:45 am.
