Victoria, BC – Officers are investigating a death on Pandora Avenue this morning where foul play is suspected. Risk to the public is low and actively being managed at this time.
This morning at approximately 3:45 a.m., VicPD Patrol officers responded to a call from BC Emergency Health Services for a man who was in medical distress in the 1000-block of Pandora Avenue. The man was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Foul play is suspected, and this incident is currently being investigated by the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crimes Unit.
There continues to be a significant police presence in the 1000-block of Pandora Avenue. The secondary Pandora Avenue, running eastbound between Vancouver Street and Cook Street remains closed, but the main westbound Pandora Avenue lanes are open for vehicles, bikes, and pedestrians.
