Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses and anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage after a 70-year-old man was assaulted with multiple weapons last Tuesday.
On September 26, just after 10 p.m., officers received a report of an assault in progress in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue. Attending officers determined that the victim had been collecting refundable containers when he was assaulted by three people.
It is believed that multiple weapons were used in the assault including bear spray, a taser and a metal stool. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A video of the assault is below, with warning that this video contains graphic content.

One of the suspects is described as a Caucasian male, approximately five feet seven inches tall with a shaved head with noticeable scabs on his scalp. He was wearing a red ski-style jacket.
