Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking for additional information after a pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk early yesterday morning. 

On October 10 at approximately 6:35 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at the intersection of Jutland Road and Cecelia Road. It is believed that the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk when they were struck. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and was last seen driving southbound on Jutland Road. 

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Below is a map of where the incident occurred.

Investigators are asking the driver of the vehicle, any witnesses who saw the incident and anyone in the area around the time of the incident that has dashcam footage to call the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
