Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for assistance after a woman was injured during a robbery in the 1900-block of Douglas Street.
Just before noon last Wednesday, a 59-year-old woman was walking toward her vehicle when the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her purse. The victim was pulled to the ground and dragged a short distance causing non-life-threatening injuries to her head, knees, and wrist.
The suspect ran away with the victim’s purse and was last seen boarding a B.C Transit bus. Bystanders in the area came to the victim’s aid.
The suspect is described as approximately 40 years old, between six feet to six feet three inches tall with a medium build, partially balding red-brown hair and a large beard. Photos of the suspect are below.
