Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking for additional information after a woman was struck while crossing the road at an intersection early Wednesday morning. 

On November 29 at approximately 12:15 a.m., a 62-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in the crosswalk at the intersection of Foul Bay Road and Fairfield Road. The driver was reported to be travelling at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the stop sign before striking the woman and sending her to the ground. 

The vehicle is described as a white sports car, and it may have damage to the front passenger side from making contact with the pedestrian 

The driver did not stop after striking the pedestrian and was last seen travelling southbound on Foul Bay Road towards Gonzales Beach. Below is a map of where the incident occurred:

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Investigators are asking the driver of the vehicle, any witnesses who saw the incident, anyone in the area around the time of the incident that has dashcam footage or doorbell footage, or nearby businesses with CCTV footage to call the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
