Victoria, BC – Investigators determined a sudden death that occurred in the 400-block of Esquimalt Road was not suspicious and there are no concerns for public safety.
On Monday morning, just before 9:30 am, officers received report from BC Emergency Health Services that a male was found deceased inside a business in the 400-block of Esquimalt Road.
Members from VicPD’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS), alongside Major Crimes detectives, attended to investigate and identify the man. Through the investigation, it was determined that no criminality was involved, and officers have notified the man’s family of their loved one’s passing.
Further inquiries on this incident may be directed to the BC Coroners Service.
