Victoria, BC – Charges have been laid in the investigation of a fatal stabbing that took place in March 2024.
On March 31, 2024, VicPD officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 700-Block of Pandora Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene to find one deceased male and another victim, who was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after the incident, the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crimes Unit assumed responsibility for the investigation.
Today, charges have been laid against Robert Travers for one count of murder. Travers remains in custody pending a future court date. As this case is now before the courts, further details cannot be shared, and the family of the victim is requesting privacy at this time.
