Victoria, BC – Traffic officers are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage from a suspected road rage incident that resulted in a collision in the 400-Block of Burnside Road East yesterday morning. 

On Thursday, July 25, at approximately 11:00 a.m., VicPD Traffic officers, Victoria Fire Department and B.C. Emergency Health Services paramedics responded to a collision between two vehicles in the 400-Block of Burnside Road East. One vehicle was towed from the scene and one driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Investigators believe there may have been pre-collision driving behaviour that led to the crash, as the vehicles travelled southeast on Burnside Road East, between Balfour Avenue and Frances Avenue. The vehicles involved were a red sedan and a black pickup truck.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed pre-collision driving behaviours between these two vehicles, or has dashcam footage of the events or collision, to call the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654. 

The collision remains under investigation and further details cannot be shared at this time.
