Victoria, B.C. – VicPD Collision Analysts are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage after a single vehicle collision left a motorcyclist with serious injuries yesterday evening.
Just before 10:30 p.m. on September 30 patrol officers responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcyclist in the 3000-block of Cook Street. B.C. Emergency Health Services paramedics attended the scene and transported the motorcycle driver to hospital. Cook Street between Cedar Hill Road and Finlayson Street was closed for several hours while Collision Analysts were on scene.
It is believed that the motorcyclist was travelling northbound on Cook Street when the collision occurred. Collision Analysts are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage of the incident.
The motorcycle driver remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
