Victoria, B.C. – There will be planned road closures and significant traffic disruptions in and around Victoria’s Inner Harbour, James Bay, Beacon Hill Park, Fairfield, Oak Bay, Uplands, and along Dallas Road for this weekend’s Royal Victoria Marathon.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians will not be able to cross the downtown race route between approximately 7:55 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 13. Expect runners and walkers along the race route from approximately 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Familiarize yourself with the race route and expect to encounter road closures if entering or leaving the downtown area on Sunday. Allow yourself extra time to your destination, especially if you are travelling to the airport, BC Ferries or the Blackball Coho or Clipper Ferries.

A map of the race route is below. For more event information, visit: runvictoriamarathon.com.
