Victoria, B.C. – Investigators are seeking witnesses and video footage after a person sustained serious injuries in an assault with a weapon near Quadra Street and Hillside Avenue on the afternoon of May 25.
On May 25, just before 5:30 p.m., Patrol officers were called to assist BC Emergency Health Services (EHS) following a report of an assault with a weapon. One individual was found bleeding in an alleyway in the 2600-block of Quadra Street. The victim was transported to hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the assault occurred near the intersection of Quadra Street and Hillside Avenue. Officers are seeking witnesses and any dashcam footage from motorists who were in the area between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on May 25.
