Victoria, B.C. Investigators continue their work as yesterday marked 20 years since Esquimalt Indigenous Woman and mother, Belinda Cameron, was reported as missing.

Belinda Cameron, a mother of two young girls, was last seen on May 11, 2005, at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the 800-block of Esquimalt Road. She was reported missing nearly a month later, on June 4, 2005. Police conducted an extensive investigation, including over 100 interviews and searches involving canine and helicopter units. 

Belinda's disappearance remains suspicious. Now adults, Belinda's daughters are seeking answers about their mother's disappearance. Detectives remain committed to bringing closure to the family and believe someone knows what happened to Belinda. 

At the time of her disappearance, Belinda was a 42-year-old Indigenous woman who stood five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build, and weighed approximately 170 pounds. Belinda had long, dark brown hair that she wore parted in the middle, and dark brown eyes. She wore silver-framed glasses.
