Victoria, B.C. – VicPD is asking for the public’s help in gathering information related to a collision that occurred downtown and injured a pedestrian.
On July 14, just before 8:00 p.m., Patrol officers responded to a crash near the intersection of Wharf Street and Broughton Street. A taxi and a woman were involved in the collision.
Officers provided initial medical care alongside BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) paramedics, who then transported the woman to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are looking to speak with any witnesses and are seeking dash cam, CCTV, or other video footage that may have captured the collision, or the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to it.
