Victoria, B.C. – Thanks to a tip from the public, the stolen item related to a theft investigation in the 700-block of Government Street has been recovered. VicPD thanks the community for their assistance.

On July 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a store owner reported that a cashmere and fox fur shawl, valued at approximately $2000, was stolen. The investigation remains ongoing as investigators work to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 50-55 years old, with a height of approximately 5’11” and a slim to medium build. He was seen wearing a baseball hat and a black jacket with beige trim.

Can you help us identify this suspect? He's wanted in connection with a theft investigation on July 9.

 

This item, previously reported stolen, has been recovered thanks to a tip from the public.
