Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Police Department Change of Command will take place today during a ceremony to be held at 1:00 p.m.
During the ceremony, Chief Constable Del Manak will formally hand over command to Chief Constable Fiona Wilson.
Chief Manak is retiring after an exemplary 35-year career, including 32 years at VicPD, and 9.5 years as Chief Constable.
Chief Wilson joins the Department with 26 years of service with the Vancouver Police Department, where she most recently served as Deputy Chief of the Investigation Division.
