Victoria, B.C. – At approximately 12:47 p.m. today, officers from the Victoria Police Department responded to reports of a man causing a public disturbance in Centennial Square. According to witnesses, the individual was exposing himself to people in the area and making obscene gestures. Police were also advised that jewellery had allegedly been stolen. Officers quickly located the suspect who is known to police, and arrested him.
The suspect remains in custody while police assess and manage the potential risk of reoffending as part of the ongoing investigative process.
