Victoria, BC – Officers are expanding their search for wanted man Ajia “Mike” Richardson.
Ajia “Mike” Richardson is 40, and is described as an Indigenous man standing, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 275lbs with a heavy build, brown hair, and brown eyes. A photograph of Mike is below.
Have you seen wanted man Ajia “Mike” Richardson?
Mike was last seen in the Burnside-Gorge area on July 14, 2023, and the subject of a wanted person alert on July 18. Officers are expanding their search for Mike to include Vancouver Island, as he has connections to Nanaimo and other Island locations.
Mike is wanted on a warrant committing someone to mental health care after being found either unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible on account of a mental disorder.
He is considered a potential danger both to himself and to others. If you see Ajia “Mike” Richardson, do not approach him, and call 911. If you have information on where he may be, call (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
