Victoria, B.C. – Colin Monkman, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, was arrested this afternoon after being recognized by a community member. The individual spotted Monkman travelling on BC Ferries after seeing the Wanted Person Alert published earlier today. Officers with Delta Police apprehended Monkman upon his arrival at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
Monkman was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failing to abide by the conditions of his release. He is currently serving a sentence for several weapons related convictions, assault, and violating conditions of a peace bond.
