Victoria, B.C. – A man who allegedly robbed a bank earlier this week has been charged.

On August 19, at approximately 10:45 a.m., a man entered a bank in the 1100-block of Douglas Street and allegedly demanded money. No weapons were involved, and the man left with money.

Approximately six hours later, a man matching the description of the suspect was located and arrested in the downtown area, and a substantial amount of money was recovered.

Josue Raul Zuria, 43, has been charged with one count of Robbery and detained by the court. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 11.
