*Updated* Victoria BC – Officers are asking for witnesses after an assault on March 24th.
Officers were called on March 24th after a youth was accosted by a man on Dallas Road near South Turner Street. The victim reported that around 4:00 p.m. she was walking when she was approached by a black man, who she believed was associated to a white van which was parked near the public washrooms. The victim reported that the man assaulted her, and she was able to defend herself and run away. Two Caucasian men were believed to be involved with one standing near the van, and one in the drivers seat. Both are believed to be associated to the suspect.
All three men appeared to be between 19 and 20 years old with the black man and one of the Caucasian men standing five feet, 10 inches tall. The Caucasian man at the rear of the van was wearing a white tank top.
