This Canada Day, we’ll be once again taking non-emergency calls for service on Facebook and Twitter using the#vicpdhelps hashtag. We’ll be monitoring #vicpdhelps on Facebook and Twitter from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. for non-emergency calls for service. In past years, #vicpdhelps has been used by members of our community to notify us of and locate missing children and seniors, traffic disruptions, alcohol on BC Transit buses, as well as potential incidents during the celebrations in which we were able to intervene early. Simply Tweet or post to our Facebook using #vicpdhelps and we’ll follow up. For emergencies, please call 911.
