Victoria, BC – VicPD investigators are continuing their search for Harold Backer and continue to ask for the public’s help in bringing him home.

“Investigators look at everything about a person’s life when he or she is reported missing,” Cst. Matt Rutherford said. “If anyone has any information we need to hear from them directly. What matters is that he comes home safely to his family. Harold’s family needs to know that he is safe.”

The search for 52-year-old Harold Backer began on Tuesday, November 3rd after he failed to return home after telling his family that he was going for a bicycle ride. Harold Backer has been missing since November 3rd. He is described as a 52-year-old Caucasian man standing six feet, three inches tall with a medium build. His eyes are green and he has greying hair.
