Victoria, BC – VicPD officers are continuing their investigation after locating and arresting both a man and a woman believed to be responsible for multiple robberies of businesses in downtown Victoria and the James Bay neighbourhood.

Investigators believe the man and woman are responsible for business robberies in the 200-block of Menzies Street, the 100-block of Douglas Street, the 1500-block of Cook Street and the same business in the 300-block of Beckley Avenue, on two separate occasions. The first incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Friday, January 29thwhile the most recent occurred just after 4:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.

VicPD detectives took the man into custody while in the process of gathering evidence for their investigation. The arrest of the man lead to officers taking the woman into custody a short time later. Investigators then executed two search warrants, locating further evidence.
