Victoria, BC – Officers are investigating reports of two possible sexual assaults involving two teen girls attending a social event in the James Bay area on Friday, February 19th. Police were not notified of these incidents until late Tuesday, February 23rd and are looking to speak to anyone who may have information.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed any unusual activity in the area of Dock Street and MacDonald Park on Friday, February 19th, 2016 between 10:00 pm and 11:15 pm. If you were in this area at that time and have any information, you are asked to please call the Victoria Police non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654.
Although it is early in our investigation and details of this file are still being gathered, officers are reminding members of the public to be aware of their surroundings and to call police with any public safety concerns.
