UPDATE: Just after 9:00p.m, on March 8th, VicPD attended the 800 blk of View Street in relation to the robbery. Police located and arrested the suspect without incident. We would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in distributing the photo and information.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Victoria, BC –VicPD officers are searching for a man after a bank in the 1200-block of Douglas Street was robbed this afternoon.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man between 55 and 65 years old. The man is approximately 6 feet tall, has a medium build with dark brown hair and a black moustache with grey “chin-strap” style beard. He was wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark pants and white shoes. He was last seen leaving the bank in the 1200-block of Douglas Street just before 1 p.m. today.
No weapons were produced and the man fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
