Victoria, BC – VicPD traffic investigators are looking for a driver of a vehicle after hit and run.
On October 14th, 2016 just after 9:15 p.m. members of our traffic section attended a single vehicle motor vehicle incident in the 2500-block of Shelbourne Street. Witnesses observed a blue BMW travelling at a high speed begin to ‘fish tail’ striking a retaining wall (see attached photo). The vehicle drove off north bound on Shelbourne Street.
The vehicle is described as an early 2000 model blue BMW 2 door Coupe. Investigators believe that the vehicle suffered significant damage. Damage to the retaining wall is around $2000.
