Victoria, BC – An image of the suspects in yesterday’s armed robbery of a jewelry business in the 600-block of Fort Street is being released by investigators.

Officers were called to the 600-block of Fort Street yesterday at around 4:35 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery. Two men had entered the store, produced weapons and taken merchandise. The men, described as Caucasian males, were both wearing dark clothing and dark “construction style” safety vests with high-viz green stripes on them and masks.

The men departed the store, and fled the scene on a black “sport model” motorcycle. One of the men was wearing a white motorcycle helmet. Greater Victoria Victims Services personnel were deployed to assist the victims who received non-life-threatening injuries in the incident but did not require treatment in hospital.

Officers flooded the area and searched for suspects as well as the motorcycle, but so far have made no arrests. The suspects were last reported seen southbound on Quadra Street near Courtney Street.
