Victoria BC – Investigators are in the beginning stages of an investigation after an assault with a weapon in Esquimalt this afternoon.
Officers were called to the 500-block of Admirals Road for the report of an assault with a weapon shortly after 12:30 p.m. Officers quickly arrived and located a man suffering non-life threatening injuries. The man was transported up to hospital. The suspect was quickly located and arrested in the 600-block of Admirals Road.
The two men are known to each other and investigators do not believe there is any risk to the public. This investigation is continuing.
