Several Tickets Issued After Single Vehicle Collision

Victoria BC –  Over $1000 in fines were issued to a 17-year old man after a serious collision.

 

Several VicPD officers attended Clover Point at 11:00 p.m. Saturday night after a vehicle was observed crashing through a metal barrier and going down an embankment with the occupants fleeing from the car.

 

Officers quickly arrived and after an initial investigation, the driver was identified.  The driver, who did not have a driver’s license,  returned to the scene and was issued several tickets including not having a driver’s license, failure to remain at the scene of an accident and driving without due care and attention.

The other occupant of the vehicle was located and found to be uninjured.
