Shortly after 11:30 a.m. this morning, officers located Daniel Rice. Daniel is in the process of being reunited with his family. Thank you for your assistance, especially to those citizens who called in.

Victoria, BC – Officers are asking for your help in locating missing man Daniel Rice.
Daniel, who answers to the name ‘Danny’, is described as a fifty-six year-old Aboriginal man, with a heavy build, who stands five feet, two inches tall. Daniel has brown eyes, black hair and a full beard.
Daniel was last seen at 2:00 p.m. today, and was reported missing to VicPD at 8:00 p.m., this evening. Daniel was last seen at Esquimalt Road and Head Street walking towards downtown Victoria. He was last seen wearing an orange hoody and possibly will have a shopping cart with him as he is known to collect bottles. Officers and Daniel’s family are concerned for his welfare due to medical concerns and Daniel’s limited speech.
