Pulling Together Paddling Tour Travels To Victoria Inner Harbour Today

Victoria BC – The 2018 Pulling Together Paddling Team, as well as several dignitaries from various levels of government, will arrive in the inner harbour around 11:30 a.m. this morning.

This year, several VicPD officers were both involved in planning the event, as well as a part of the team. The Pulling Together journey, which began in 2001, has grown to include several public service agencies who are working to “recognize the past by pulling together to enhance understanding between Public Service Agencies and Aboriginal peoples by canoeing the traditional highway”. This year’s journey ends on July 11^th in the Vancouver Harbour.
