Victoria, BC –VicPD is joining with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and police departments and pharmacies across Canada as we work to help keep kids drug free.

Over 375,000 Canadian teens have abused prescription drugs. More than half of these kids found the drugs in their own homes.

By securing prescription drugs, talking with your kids early and often about prescription drug abuse, and by dropping off your unwanted prescription drugs at your local pharmacy, you can help keep young people safe. It’s that simple.

All pharmacies across Canada are participating in this month-long campaign to accept unwanted prescription drugs. Simply drop off your unwanted drugs at your local pharmacy.
