Victoria, BC – As with previous events, we will be deploying temporary cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during this year’s Times Colonist 10K and Khalsa Day Parade in Victoria. The deployment of these cameras is part of our operations to help keep this event fun, safe and family-friendly.

As always, we are deploying these temporarily placed, monitored cameras in public spaces in accordance with B.C. and national privacy legislation. The cameras are going up in the next two days and will be taken down a short time after the event. Temporary signs will also be posted to ensure that those in the area are aware.

If you have questions or concerns about our temporary CCTV camera deployment, please email [email protected].

Both events are taking place on April 28th and there will be multiple road closures. For more information over the weekend, please visit VicPD on Twitter at @vicpdcanada
