Victoria BC – Officers are asking for your help in locating a suspect in a bizarre road rage incident yesterday afternoon.

Shortly after 4:00 p.m., VicPD received a call of a road rage incident at Broughton and Blanshard Streets. The victim reported that they had honked at a truck after that vehicle was tailgating another car and then ran a red light. 

The driver then, allegedly, proceeded to throw a lit cigarette into the victims open window which caused minor, non-life threatening burns. Fortunately, the young child in the vehicle was uninjured.

Officers are looking to identify the suspect, and would like to speak to any witnesses in the area of Broughton and Blanshard Streets around 4:00 p.m., yesterday afternoon.  Specifically, anybody that observed a black Nissan truck ,with ‘Pro-4” on the driver side (with the ‘4’ in yellow), being driven in a reckless manner.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 50’s with glasses.  If you know who he is, or have any information on this incident please call 250-995-7654.
