Temporary CCTV Cameras to be Deployed for This Afternoon’s Protest

Victoria, BC –As with previous events,  we will be deploying temporary cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during the Climate Action Protest at the B.C. Legislature.  

As always, we are deploying these temporarily placed, monitored cameras in public spaces in accordance with B.C. and national privacy legislation. The cameras, which were already in place for the B.C. Law Enforcement Memorial but not activated, will be taken down a short time after the Law Enforcement Memorial event.
