Victoria, BC – Officers are looking for witnesses and to speak with a man in regards to a suspicious incident involving a child that occurred in Victoria’s Fairfield neighbourhood.
A concerned parent called to report that on November 5th at approximately 8:00 a.m. her 11-year old daughter was in the area of Moss Street and Thurlow Road when a man spoke to her. The child reported that the content of the man’s comment was concerning. The girl continued walking away from the man and last observed him meet up with two additional men standing near a white truck at the corner of Thurlow Road. The girl was not physically injured in the interaction.
The man is described as a Caucasian male in his twenties, with brown hair. The man may be associated to a rusty, older model blue car which was parked on Thurlow Road.
Officers are looking to speak with the man involved and witnesses who may have knowledge of the incident.
