Victoria, B.C. – Investigators closed Quadra Street between Fisgard Street and Caledonia Avenue following an arrest of occupants in a vehicle which fled from police.
Patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle just after 10:30 a.m. this morning near the intersection at Cook Street and Pandora Avenue. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled, resulting in a VicPD officer receiving non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle collided with a parked vehicle at Quadra and North Park Streets a short time later. The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody with one occupant being transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services.
The area is now open to traffic. This file is still under investigation and more information will be released as we are able.
