Victoria, BC – Strike Force officers seized a firearm with ammunition, cash, and drugs, including fentanyl, after an investigation which involved locations in Victoria and Sidney. Three men were arrested.

On January 23, 2020, Strike Force officers, with the assistance of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT), arrested three men in the 600-block of Pandora Avenue. Two of the men were found to be in possession of drugs. One of the men was a federal parolee who had past convictions for violent offences. No one was injured.

Subsequently, Strike Force and GVERT officers executed search warrants at three separate locations. These locations included a suite in a multi-unit residential building in the 2600-block of Graham Street, a hotel room in Victoria, and a business in Sidney. In addition, investigators searched two vehicles associated to the suspects.

Strike Force officers located a firearm with ammunition and a considerable amount of fentanyl, cocaine, and cash in their search of the suite in the 2600-block of Graham Street. The search of the hotel room in Victoria yielded more cocaine and cash. At the business in Sidney, Strike Force officers located more drugs, cash, and evidence of a sophisticated drug production site.

Investigators seized the two vehicles associated to the suspects. One vehicle is being considered for Civil Forfeiture.

No charges have been sworn. This file remains under investigation.
