Victoria, BC – A man has been arrested after Patrol officers responded to a report of an explosion this afternoon.
Patrol officers, along with Victoria Fire Department firefighters, were called to a multi-unit residential building in the 200-block of Gorge Road East just after 1:30 p.m. today.
When they arrived, officers discovered that the windows to one of the units were blown out. Attending Victoria Fire Department firefighters determined there had been no fire. Luckily, there were no injuries.
Attending officers located a man at the scene who was wanted on outstanding warrants. He was taken into custody. His arrest today is not directly linked to the explosion.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
